If you are a novice gardener or want to make gardening a bit simpler this season, there are some great garden apps out there. I am excited about growing  my own produce this year but have been a bit intimidated by the process. Below are three apps I found in my garden app search that I wanted to share.

Garden Time Planner App

This is app is perfect for a novice like me! First, you scroll through a list of vegetables and herbs and select what you want to grow.

Garden Time Planner

You can select the item and learn more about it. There are “How to” videos and will give you recommended planting dates based on your weather and location.

Finally, it generates a task list for you!!! Super simple!

Leafsnap App

Have you ever seen a plant or flower that you loved and wanted to know what it was so you could include in your own garden? Well, now you can find out quickly by using Leafsnap! This free app uses visual recognition software to help identify tree species. All you need to do is take a picture of the leaf on a white background and it will pull up what it is and information about it.
